My husband, John, is an amazing dad! He is very patient and generous with his time. He rarely, if ever, complains!! Father's day is around the corner, and I just wanted to shout from the mountain tops (if there were some around here) what an awesome dad he is!!
For example, Noble had a scout day camp yesterday and today, and John really wanted to be able to go with him. So Thursday he worked until 2 am Friday morning at his insurance office trying to get ahead of the game, so that he could feel slightly more comfortable about being away from the office all day Friday. When he got home about 2 am, he cleaned out and loaded his car for camp. He awoke Friday morning at 6:30 to get Noble and himself feed and ready. At 7:30 am he picked up another boy who needed a ride. At 8:00 am he met up with the Ashton crew to drive out to the ranch to help set up for the camp and be ready for the boys by 10 am. He then had a blast doing all sorts of things: collecting wood, building fires with flint and steel, hiking, etc., in 100 degree heat. Noble and he arrived back at our home covered in dirt around 5 pm, and he took a shower, ate a quick sandwich, and went out to help a client that had had a car accident earlier in the day. At 6 pm he went to work at Lowes, and he arrived back home at 1:30 am this morning. He then visited with me about things that I had done all day, ate some soup, and went to bed.

He got up this morning to do it all over again.
